Here's a few things my kids have said over the past few days:
Addie (talking to Abigail)- "If you drink soda then you have steam come back out your throat sometimes and it EXPLODES and tastes like soda!"
Abigail rarely says her "s's" like in the word "spill"- she just shortens it too "hmpill". Always cute to hear her say she "hmpilled shump-ting". (spilled something)
Addie- "3!-2!-1!- PLAST-OFF!!
Abigail- "Mommy, they say 'dooties' in the God Movie." (this is one of the movies we let our kids watch on sundays... the kids call it "The God Movie".)
Addie (saying the blessing over the food)- "... and please bless Meme (G-ma Pam) that she'll stop stabbing her toe every time she comes to our home..."
(this made me laugh for several reasons. It seems that every time Meme has come to our house she has either tripped and fallen and/or twisted/stubbed/sprained/and even broken her toes and/or ankle. It was so funny- adds just came out of the blue and blessed her feet- and also used the word "stabbed" instead of "stubbed". Funny all around!)
When talking to the girls about different names for baby animals vs grown up animals (i.e. baby deer is a fawn, a baby chicken is a chick, a baby cow is a calf, etc.) Abigail asks, "what is a baby monkey called?" I responded, "it's just called a baby monkey." Abigail thought for a moment then said, "No mommy, a baby monkey is a 'chick-monk'!" What a smarty pants.
Abigail: Always asks if we will help her "in-side-out this showt (shirt)?" Cute.
Addie- (when playing w dolls w abigail- she's the mommy dolly lecturing the children dollies) "And remember kids... NO RUFF RUFF COMING IN TO OUR HOUSE!!!!" I'm pretty sure she meant, "Riff Raff". Where do they come up with these things?!
Abigail has been saying she wants the "hairy juice". It took me a while to figure out what she really wanted was the "cherry juice".
